Pulse Heart Institute has partnered with SkedgeAlert, a mobile-based appointment app. Pulse is piloting the app for next day appointments for follow up visits only.
The SkedgeAlert app lets available next day appointments find you based on your pre-set availability and sends you a notification when one of those next day appointments meets your availability. You can either accept or decline that appointment via the app.
You can turn off SkedgeAlert notifications at any time by switching on the “pause alerts” toggle button on the bottom of the main menu page of the app.
There are some insurance plans that require preauthorization for appointments, and if you have one of those plans your request to connect via SkedgeAlert will be declined. The following insurance plans do not allow for appointments without preauthorization:

- Regence Med Advantage HMO
- Humana Med Advantage HMO
- AARP Medicare complete Med Advantage PASSPORT PLAN ONLY
- Commercial Premera Amazon HMO
- Tricare Prime
- Labor & Industry
