Heart Month – February – may look different this year due to the ongoing restrictions of COVID-19. But that doesn’t mean that there won’t be opportunities for learning and fun.
While most of us are not as clustered together as we used to be, you can still share a photo of yourself wearing red. Ask someone to take a picture of you, or take a selfie and have it posted on the Pulse Go Red website. Photos will be posted to that site as the day goes on, and afterward as well.
As the U.S. continues to combat COVID-19, one of the biggest decisions for hospitals is designing a plan for managing elective surgeries. To help hospitals during another possible elective surgery shutdown, hospitals need to be prepared for OR recovery. Two important pieces to this planning are increasing OR access for surgeons and accommodating growth.
